FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this financial advice?
No. Pop Terminal is educational research. The signal explains publicly available financial data. You are responsible for your own investment decisions.
How is the conviction score calculated?
Current ticker scores use Conviction v4. It measures source-linked Momentum (18%), Growth (18%), Sentiment (15%), Street (12%), Estimate Revisions (12%), Valuation (10%), Quality (10%), and Risk (5%) factors against certified peer cohorts, then percentiles the weighted composite. Base is the factor-percentile composite; Rank is its relative market percentile, not an absolute forecast. Displayed Confidence adds the exact certified Event Pulse to Rank and stays between 0 and 100. If an exact v4 projection is unavailable, the ticker safely falls back to certified v3.1. Missing inputs are never replaced with zero or a neutral 50, and AI never sets the score.
Where does the data come from?
Pop Terminal stores filings, issuer and regulator disclosures, quotes, financial statements, analyst snapshots, ownership records, and established reporting from enabled sources. Scored observations identify their exact source, period, unit, and as-of time. Data can still be delayed, stale, incomplete, corrected, or unavailable.
What is the AI summary for?
The AI reads the stored snapshot and produces a plain-English bull case, bear case, what changed, key risks, and what to watch. It never invents numbers or price targets. If data is missing, it says so.
Do you connect to my broker?
No. Pop Terminal does not connect to brokers, import portfolios, or execute trades.
Can I get a refund?
See the refund policy for full terms.
