Cookie and Analytics Notice

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Pop Terminal uses cookies and similar browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, product analytics, and creator-referral attribution. This notice explains the categories and available choices. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

Strictly necessary storage

Authentication and security storage keeps you signed in, routes requests to the correct account, protects sessions, prevents abuse, and remembers privacy choices. The Service cannot reliably provide account features without it. Disabling this category through browser controls may cause sign-in or saved features to fail.

Functional preferences

Functional storage can remember interface preferences such as navigation state, timezone, and display choices. It is not used to change a security's canonical score. You can often remove these values through browser settings, though the preference may reset.

Product analytics

When enabled, Pop Terminal uses PostHog or a configured equivalent to measure page views, feature interactions, acquisition steps, errors, and return usage. For signed-in users, the analytics record may be associated with an account identifier and limited account traits. Analytics must not contain private portfolio holdings, raw payment-card data, or sandbox values mislabeled as real revenue.

Non-essential analytics should run only in accordance with the consent choice presented in the Service and applicable law. Declining analytics must not block core research or account functions. Changing a choice affects future collection; previously collected information may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy unless deletion is requested and legally required.

Creator referrals

A creator link can store an opaque signed visitor token and creator code so the first valid creator touch can be attributed for up to 30 days. An explicitly entered valid code may override that token before checkout, and attribution locks after conversion. The referral record is designed not to store a raw IP address or subscriber PII. Fraud-prevention systems may separately process technical network data.

Third-party content

Stripe test checkout, embedded media, and other third-party features may set their own storage under their privacy notices. Pop Terminal uses privacy-enhanced video embeds where available, but playing or interacting with third-party content can still send information to that provider.

Your controls

Use the in-product privacy control, where available, to accept, decline, or revisit non-essential analytics. You can also block or delete storage in browser settings. Blocking all storage may sign you out or disable features. Browser Global Privacy Control or similar signals will be honored where required by applicable law once the configured consent system has been verified.

Contact

Questions about storage or analytics may be sent to hello@popcapital.io.

Release verification required: the owner and privacy counsel must confirm the production cookie inventory, consent-region rules, PostHog settings, retention, account traits, Global Privacy Control behavior, and embedded provider storage. Non-essential analytics keys should remain disabled until the consent control is verified end to end.

Essential storage keeps accounts and saved work functioning. With your permission, privacy-conscious product analytics help us improve Pop Terminal. Analytics never includes portfolio holdings or payment-card data. Read the Cookie and Analytics Notice.
