Scores are not forecasts or probabilities

Conviction v4 computes a source-linked factor composite and then ranks it against a certified peer snapshot. The resulting percentile rank is relative to that market snapshot, not an absolute measure of quality or expected return. Event Pulse reflects bounded, decaying certified evidence impacts, and displayed Confidence combines the rank and Event Pulse. A score of 80 does not mean an 80% chance of profit, and a positive or negative change does not predict price direction. Labels such as "High Conviction," "strengthening," "weakening," "bullish," "bearish," or "thesis-breaking" describe the model's evidence classification only. They are not trading instructions.

Data, source, and model risk

Prices, fundamentals, estimates, analyst actions, insider reports, 13F holdings, filings, news, and relationship mappings may be delayed, restated, duplicated, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. A filing date is not necessarily a transaction date; institutional holdings can be substantially delayed. Historical scores reproduce available snapshots, not facts known with hindsight. Provider corrections and model-version changes can alter later displays. Consult the cited primary source and the Data Limitations page.

AI limitations

AI may structure, classify, or summarize evidence, but it can omit context, misunderstand a source, or generate incorrect language. Deterministic rules, not AI, set numeric event impacts, but that does not eliminate model or data risk. Source citations take priority over generated prose.

Portfolio analytics are incomplete

Portfolio Confidence is a weighted research aggregation based on holdings you provide. Construction statistics such as concentration, sector mix, beta, and correlation are separate diagnostics. Neither considers your full financial situation, unentered assets and liabilities, objectives, liquidity, tax status, time horizon, legal restrictions, or ability to bear loss. Pop Terminal does not connect to a broker or execute trades.

Creator and affiliate conflicts

Creators may hold positions in securities they discuss and may receive referral credit if a viewer later subscribes. Those financial interests can create conflicts. Creators are required to disclose material connections clearly, but you should independently evaluate their views. YouTube videos, X posts, and referral attribution are context-only and never change a company's Base Conviction, Event Pulse, or displayed Confidence.
